Murphys, CA…Come to Murphys Volunteer Library Dinosaur Day on October 17th from 1 – 3pm. It will be fun for the kids with Food, Games, Arts & Crafts! The nonprofit Murphys Volunteer Library Inc continuously works to promote and improve programs and the offerings of the Murphy Library.

Murphys Volunteer Library, built by Murphys community volunteers in 1994, is now a full service branch of the Calaveras County Library. Murphys Volunteer Library Inc, a nonprofit organization, provides resources to enhance the overall library experience in the Murphys, California area. Our fundraising enables the purchase of new books, supplies for children’s art projects, upgraded technology, upkeep of the grounds, custodial services and more. Additional volunteers are always appreciated – to staff the library, teach a class or assist with events and special projects.

Support the library through our sales of donated books. Local Grocery Card programs allow you to specify Murphys Volunteer Library to easily provide us additional funds. Your patronage and financial support enables us to continue expanding and improving available services.
