Tour Ticket Price: Adults (18 and over) pre-sale $12. Day of event $15. FREE to those 17 years and under. Tickets available at TCFarms.Org, at Sonora Certified Farmers Market on May 28 and June 4, Nature’s Whole Food Depot in Standard, Columbia Mercantile 1855 in Columbia or at your first tour stop on June 11.
**Proceeds from the Farm and Ranch Tour help fund Farms of Tuolumne County Agricultural Grant Program to assist qualified county youth with agricultural projects. Youth apply to FOTC with a description of their agricultural projects. They also do an in-person presentation to the FOTC Board of Directors. The Board selects one (sometimes two) projects to fund. Since 2011 FOTC has donated over $20,000 to county youth involved in agriculture. FOTC also helps sponsor agricultural seminars and summits.
Examples of projects FOTC has funded are Mother Lode Junior Adventist Academy School Garden, Juvenile Detention Center Garden, FFA projects, 4-H projects, Kids Day at Peaceful Valley Farmers Market.
