Sonora, CA…On October 15, 1940 Linda was born to Burt & Verda Duer in a small town called Sunnyvale CA. She grew up in Saratoga CA. and attended Campbell High School. From there it was about making her “nest egg”. By the time she was 21, she brought into this world her surviving daughters – Dawnene Needles, Mona Mannina, Barbara McCormick and Debra Stratton. In turn over the years, they brought Linda 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was a very blessed woman.
Linda did odd and ends to help out financially, but was primarily a homemaker. No one could fry up chicken like Mama! She was and still is the best.
Her late husband, Bobby A. Aho pasted on July 4, 2014 (causes Cancer). From there on she opted to make one of her son-in-laws’ James San Nicolas “her boyfriend”, which she had hands on in matchmaking to daughter Mona. James was a true blessing to Linda as they adored each other, always a helping hand in any way shape or form. A true Gentleman!
Linda endured complications during her open heart surgery which ended her life on January 6, 2016 at age 75. She was loved very much and will not be forgotten. May the Lord always watch over her and may her soul fly with butterflies.
Linda’s Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 23, 2016 at the Sonora Elks Lodge 100 Elks Drive, Sonora CA., between 11 – 4:00 PM.
