Bear Valley, CA…State Route 4 Ebbetts Pass was closed last night due to several mudslides caused by heavy thunderstorm activity. Caltrans, District 10 crews worked into the night to clear the mud and debris and were able to reopen around 12:30 a.m. today.

Thunderstorms are predicted to continue through the day, so crews will be monitoring the area and are prepared to respond to any issues.
