Angels Camp, CA…The Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee was saddened to learn of the passing of our dear friend and volunteer Arvid Morrow. Arvid organized the professional arts building for many years. He was passionate about art expecially his wife Ruth’s masterpieces. “He was the most organized building organizer, he had all his volunteers scheduled by the first of the year annually”, says Fair CEO Laurie Giannini. Arvid was a wonderful artist and landscaper. He retired from the United States Postal Service. Arvid is a member of the Fair’s prestigious Honor Roll. The thoughts and prayers of the fair family are with his wife Ruth and family friends. You will be missed dear friend.
