Sender’s Market Weekly Ad & Grocery Specials Through October 15th! Shop Local & Save!!

Mountain Ranch, CA…In 1950, we started out as a family operation with Erich’s father and mother, August and Freida Sender, in a century-old adobe building. The upstairs was home to the Sender family, and the first floor included groceries, a meat market, a bar, and a small eating place called Opa’s Smokehouse. On Christmas morning in 1968, the old store was destroyed by fire. But in June 1969, Sender’s Market, Inc. was opened. Since that time, there have been many changes, including remodeling, expansion, and the addition of many employees. That’s also when we added the truss plant and purchased Sender’s Market Ace Hardware in Valley Springs. Today, we’re still family owned and still working hard to stock everything from pantry essentials to power tools. Whether you’ve got questions about the perfect cut of meat or the right kind of paint, our helpful, knowledgeable staff has you covered. Click on images below for larger versions.

Gov Newsom has vetoed SB 1374, the bill that would allow schools, apartments, farmers to directly use the solar electricity they produce.
This is a direct assault on the use of solar to reduce electricity bills, especially for schools, now school budgets must account for buying electricity at much higher prices on top of paying off their solar installation. Newsom is caving to the lies of the utilities, citing their lie that solar costs everyone more for electricity, when it actually reduces bills.
Write Newsom and tell him his pandering for utility $ is the opposite of why voters supported him.

Write Newsom, Why is it illegal for any one under the age of 18 to get a tattoo, but it’s okay if they get sex reassignment surgery? You know what he’ll say?

      https://justthenews.com/nation/states/center-square/least-2084-california-children-received-gender-reassignment-procedures

California leads the nation in the number of sex reassignment procedures and surgeries performed on children, with over 2,000 California minors having submitted insurance claims for one or both types of medical interventions.

The new data comes from Do No Harm, which describes itself as a “a national association of medical professionals combating the attack on our healthcare system from woke activists.”

DNH analyzed procedure and drug codes used by most insurance companies and hospitals for “gender-affirming care” on those 17 and younger, and cross-referenced the data with patient diagnoses. The data was vetted by multiple medical professionals to weed out possible false positives.

Given that approximately 2,024 children were billed for $29 million of submitted charges in California, that’s approximately $14,300 in average medical intervention costs per child. With 8.6 million minors in California, that’s 0.024% of children making medical-level gender transitions — or 23.6 out of 100,000 California children. That’s 31% higher than the national average of 18.1 per 100,000 children.

California’s higher rate may in part be explained by California’s requirement that insurance coverage include “gender affirming care,” a requirement that extends even to taxpayer-funded MediCal, recently expanded to cover the state’s undocumented immigrants.

A group of mothers, professionals, and harmed medical patients tabled a booth at the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) conference on September 28-30, 2024. We were there to express our concerns about the standards of care the AAP is promoting for youth with gender dysphoria. Currently, the AAP stands behind immediate gender identity affirmation and that puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, and surgeries are medically necessary for youth who self-identify as transgender.

In an article from August 2023, the AAP declared that they have solid data to continue providing cross-sex hormones and surgeries to minors. The article quotes the AAP CEO/Executive Vice President, Mark Del Monte, “As part of its mission, the AAP will continue to ‘ensure young people get the reproductive and gender-affirming care they need and are seen, heard and valued as they are,’ Del Monte said.” J.D. Del Monte is not even a medical professional, he is a lawyer. This policy was initiated in 2018 and reaffirmed in 2023. Yet their data is flawed with small sample sizes, correlations conflated with causations, and no control group studies. Meanwhile, several European countries have shut down their gender clinics, including the UK’s Tavistock clinic, because patients were harmed and it was concluded that they did not have sufficient data to continue. Since the Tavistock shutdown, the Cass review was released. It is the most thorough and systematic report on Gender Affirming Care and it concluded that there is not enough evidence to continue social and medical transitioning children.

The seemingly conflicting data can make this topic appear unclear, but what is absolutely clear is the fact that there are thousands of patients out there who have been harmed by these practices and their voices are silenced. In fact, four of them were at the AAP conference to talk to doctors about their personal experiences and were asked to leave on the third day with no clear explanation. We were told someone from our group violated a rule last year, but they would not explain who that is and what rule was violated. (Only two individuals from our group were there last year with a different organization, so this is invalid). Detransitioners Booted from AAP conference via The Daily Wire.

Video shows a security officer telling January Littlejohn that our group had to immediately pack up and leave the premises without a clear explanation of why. January is a mother with a daughter who once believed she was trans, but no longer does. She is also a mental health professional.
