San Andreas, CA…At this morning’s Calaveras Board Meeting on of the first items on the agenda was to select Board Chair & Vice Chair for this year. District Three Supervisor Martin Huberty was selected Chair for 2025. District Five Supervisor Ben Stopper was selected Vice-Chair.

It was a 5-0 Vote on both counts. In some years these votes have been contentious and an indicator of the tenor of the board and how meetings might go for the year. This year votes were seamless and unanimous…a good sign.
