Marshall A. Moffitt

San Andreas,CA…Marshall A. Moffitt peacefully passed away in his home at the age of 90 years. Survived by his wife Anna Moffitt, daughters- Kathryn Laub, Virginia Boyert, son- Micheal Moffitt predeceased and six grand children and eight great grand children.

Marshall was born in Stockton and graduated from Stockton High School in three and a half years at the age of seventeen to join the Navy. He served on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt as seaman first class (amm), Combat Aircrew man.

Marshall was an Active Life Member of The VFW Post #2600 San Andreas and served as Burglar with the Honor Guard. “NEVER MISSED A NOTE.” He was very active in community service: Veteran’s Memorial Board, S.A. Lions Club, Historical Society and Museum Docent. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and traveling in his RV. He will truly be missed.

Internment at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella,California. All services will be held at a later date.
