San Andreas, CA…Notice is hereby given that the County of Calaveras, as operator of Calaveras Transit, will conduct a public hearing on March 14, 2017, at 9 a.m. or soon thereafter to determine whether any public non-profit transportation providers are “willing and able” to provide public transportation to the elderly and disabled in the Calaveras Transit service area. The hearing is in conjunction with the County’s application for funding for a replacement transit bus under the FTA Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities grant program.

The public hearing will be held in the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors Chambers, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas. You may provide input either in person at the public hearing, in writing to the Calaveras County Department of Public Works, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, CA 95249, or by email to transit@co.calaveras.ca.us.
