Building & Using A Hoop House – Rescheduled

Amador County, CA…How would you like more control over the growing season? Do you want to harvest tomatoes year-round and grow lettuce for your salads in the hot summer?

If so, then a Hoop House could be the perfect addition to your gardening area. Please join the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County on Saturday, May 6th (this class was originally scheduled for March 25) for our class on “Building and Using a Hoop House”. Attendees will gain hands–on experience in the complete construction of a Hoop House as well as ideas for year-round use of the structure. Hand-outs will be provided. The class is free and open to the public. However, we are asking that you call 223-6838 or email mgamador@ucdavis.edu for the location and to make reservations.
