Fire Update….Jacksonville Fire Now at 130 Acres and More Evacuation Advisories

Jamestown, CA…An update from the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Department on the vegetation fire west of Jamestown. “Update at 4:40 PM: Evacuation advisories are being issued to Campbells Flat Road, Meadowlark Lane and Blackbird Lane. Mother Lode Fairgrounds available to take livestock. Update at 4:15 PM: Fire at 130 acres. Evacuation advisories for Algerine Road, Twist Road and Hog Mountain Road are now upgraded to mandatory Evacuation Orders.

Update at 3:40 PM:
Additional Road closures at Algerine at Wards Ferry and Lime Kiln at Wards Ferry. Evacuations advisories have been issued for Algerine Road, Twist Road and Hog Mountain Road.

Update 3 PM:
Fire is now reported at 80-100 acres. One home was evacuated on Jacksonville
Road. The fire is moving towards Algerine Road. Fire personnel are working hard to battle the blaze and prevent it from jumping Algerine Road.

Sheriff’s Deputies are responding to a vegetation fire located in the 15000 block of Jacksonville Road in Jamestown with the possibility of two homes being evacuated. The fire is at 15-20 acres and headed towards Algerine Road. CHP has Jacksonville Road closed from Hwy 120 to Stent. Algerine Road is also closed.
