West Point, CA…Murray was driving his 1998 Mazda sedan eastbound on Winton Road at a high rate of speed. Murray failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle left the roadway and subsequently collided with a tree. Murray was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision.

Alcohol and/or drugs are believed to be a factor in this collision.

This collision is still under investigation.
