West Point, CA…On Christmas Day A 56 year old Mokelumne Hill man was traveling westbound on SR26 just east of Spink Road. Due to his intoxication, he allowed his Dodge pickup to travel off of the roadway and it collided into a power pole guide wire and a tree, and the pickup then overturned into a ditch. He was arrested for suspicion of DUI and then flown to Modesto Memorial for his injuries.
