Columbia, CA…From the Tuolumne Sheriff’s Dept…”On Saturday morning just after midnight, deputies responded to a home on Marble Quarry Road in Columbia for a reported assault. Deputies found a 65-year-old woman who had been assaulted by 49-year-old Robbie Davis. During the investigation, deputies learned Davis who was a friend to the woman had struck her in the arm, thrown her to the ground, kicked her and hit her on the head with a metal object causing a small laceration. During the altercation, Davis ripped a cabinet off the wall in the garage and took both set of keys to her vehicles and home before he fled the scene. Deputies arrested Davis when he later returned to the home.
Davis was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, battery causing bodily injury, vandalism, petty theft, cruelty to elder and theft from an elder.”
