Valley Springs, CA….Charles “Chuck” Trebino Went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 21st after a four year battle with cancer at the young age of 73. He was born in MA on August 17, 1944, and has lived in Valley Springs for the past 20 yrs. US Navy Flight Engineer and Atlas Air FE on Boeing 747 Cargo Aircraft flown by Atlas Airlines, FFDO Officer.
His military Career was full of thrilling adventures including flying into the heart of hurricanes on the P3 Aircraft. In 1986 Chuck retired from the Navy and opened an A&P School which he managed for over 10 years. Atlas Air was his dream job and after leaving Atlas he once again started his own business as an AMSOIL Dealer.
Chuck loved riding motorcycles and showing his muscle car with the local Cruzers Club. Shooting with friends and flying his Cessna 182 also kept him busy. When he wasn’t doing those things, he was making friends at the local Barber and Coffee shop.
The Bucket List was complete.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, his two sons Chuck Jr, from Burbank CA, and John and Johns wife Amy and their two children, Christian and Gabriel, from Clearwater Florida and 3 brothers Dennis, Jerry, and Ricki from Massachusetts and sister Catherine from Rhode Island.
There will be a service at the Calvary Baptist Church, 150 California Street, Valley Springs June 1st from 9 AM to 10 PM with a viewing from 10:00 to 10:15. At 10:30 Chuck will depart for his final journey to Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon California where he will receive full military honors.
May you Rest In Peace, dear Chuck. We will all meet again. Your wife and your family will miss you. How good you became a grandparent.
