Firefighters are working to keep the fire north of the Middle Fork of the Stanislaus River, south of trail 19E06 and east of Dome Rock.
Cooperating Agencies: Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office, Tuolumne County Air Pollution Control District, Caltrans.
Fire Information: The Tuolumne County Sheriff announced evacuation advisories for Wagner Housing Track homes on Clarks Fork. Organizational and Forest Service campgrounds have been notified of the evacuation advisory in their area. We advise the public to avoid this area. Steep and rugged terrain would make escape difficult.
Weather conditions: Very dry fuel conditions will persist throughout the area and temperatures in excess of 100 degrees are expected to continue for the next several days. There are red flag warnings for winds. High winds, low relative humidity and a temperature inversion are making use of aircraft resources difficult.

When will we learn that people are too brain dead and we should ban any and all open fires no matter what time of year, When 95% of fires are started by humans in California we should be spending the millions of dollars on forest management not fighting fires. Would,Ike to debate ANYONE on this. People can eat cold food when camping and bring more warm clothing. Take a nice walk ,we don’t need motocross and four wheelers along with tweekers and pot farms where we can’t suppress the fires when they get started.
Enough is enough
