Angels Camp, CA…Asa C Curry. 87, Angels Camp, CA, died June 25th at Mark Twain Hospital due to heart failure. A memorial will be held at the San Andreas Community Church on Thursday, July 9th at 6:30 pm. Asa was born on January 22, 1928 in Napa, Ca. He graduated from Napa High school and served in the navy on a submarine. He worked for PG&E for 39 years in different jobs and was involved in AA, Rotary, Lions, Elks, Toast Masters, church and other local organizations. He lived in Calaveras county for 48 years.

He is survived by his three children Cathy and Ed Kelsay, Asa B and Sharlee Curry, and Cindy and Earl Chatfield. He also has 9 grandchildren and 8 great grand children. Asa was married to Carol Bryant in 1948 for 65 years before she passed away in Feburay 2014.
