San Andreas, CA…Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF) continues to focus on initiatives for 2019’s grant giving. The three initiatives are: Seniors, Youth, and Community Enrichment. Funding for these grants is from the Foundation’s General Grant Fund. A detailed explanation of these initiatives and grant criteria may be viewed on CCF’s website: www.calaverascommunityfoundation.org. Applications will begin to be accepted on January 1, 2019 and must be submitted to CCF ONLY via email by 5:00 PM on Friday, January 25, 2019. @info@calaverascommunityfoundation.org
ALL applications for competitive grants MUST address one of the initiatives to be considered for funding. Complete details, applications, guidelines and fillable forms are available on the CCF website: www.calaverascommunityfoundation.org in the “Grants and Scholarships” area.
Grants awarded in 2018 were varied and the decisions were difficult. Over $89,000 was awarded during CCF’s grant cycle. To see the specifics about what projects were funded, go to CCF’s website – under “Grants and Scholarships” – drop down “Competitive Grants Given.”
Individual donations and corporate partners’ generosity allows CCF to continue to fund viable projects that benefit our county residents, students and seniors. Since it’s inception in 2000, CCF has provided more than $2,200,000 in competitive grants, scholarships and assistance.
