Human Remains Found
On 08/29/15 at about 1610 hours, the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office responded to a rural area off of Winton Road, in West Point, to investigate a foul odor. The Sheriff’s Office located human remains of an adult male found off the roadway. The investigation is ongoing and is being treated as suspicious until further information is determined from the autopsy.
