Cara Concetta Alfinito 1954 – 2015

Angels Camp, CA…Cara Concetta Alfinito Lipp passed on August 10th, while at Kaiser Hospital Santa Clara, from chronic liver disease. Born July 16,1954, to Rudolph Arthur Alfinito and Clara Marie Bratton Alfinito at the Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, she lived in Los Altos until moving to Santa Cruz to finish High School and attend Cabrillo College. A long time resident of Lompico, Cara cherished the peaceful woodlands and the majestic redwood grove she called home.

She loved to garden and the resident wildlife of Lompico. Cara also loved donating her time working for the animal shelter in Scotts Valley. Cara is survived by her father Rudolph, sisters Paula and Tina, nieces Shawnee, Angelina and Giuliana Alfinito, Shanon Roddewig, Sheilah Bafus and Colleen Rasmussen. Services were held at the Angels Memorial Chapel, in Angels Camp, on Monday, August 17th at 1:00pm. Please make any donations on Cara’s behalf to your local Human Society animal shelter..

    Cara Concetta Alfinito Lipp I have known, and loved Cara for 59 years. I will always miss her dearly, and she will always hold a very special place in my heart.
